To recall, President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act No. 11307 or the “University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines-Villanueva Campus Act.”

At present, the university is using the facilities of the local government of Villanueva, because they do not have a land where they could build the campus, Dr. Ambrosio Cultura, the USTP System President, said.

“We presented our proposal to establish USTP campus within PHIVIDEC. We are an academic institution and we offer research and development, technology innovations, and even establish spaces for industry and the academe,” said Cultura.
