The 4^th Veterans Day event was held on November 11, 2016 at the Limketkai Atrium. This has been an annual event made by PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority to honor the Northern Mindanao War Veterans.

The veterans were asked to register their names and their chaperone’s name in the registration list and will be guided to their medical consultations. They were given medical attentions and medicines from the doctorsfrom the Veterans Memorial Medical Center & the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, nurses, physical therapists, dentists, ophthalmologists, and pharmacists. The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) was also present and assisted the veterans on their needs and concerns.

The National Defense Secretary, Delfin N. Lorenzana, graced the event as the Guest of Honor. The PVAO Administrator, Usec. Ernesto G. Carolina, was also present on the said event.

Sec. Lorenzana led the awarding of the five oldest veterans in Northern Mindanao: Marcelo Polonia, 104; Mariano Avila, 99; Sulpicio Cabasan, 94, Aligondo Dagondon, 94; Manuel Cunada, 93.

Raffle prizes were given to the lucky winners. Everyone was on their feet during the announcement of the winners and hoping that they would win.
